Selection
There's quite a lot of pictures here in all the galleries below. So I made a selection of the more interesting images for those of you who are short on time.

Paris
Paris

I spent in Paris little more than two days. Mostly, I just wanted to see all the biggies of the city like the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Notre Dame and Sacre Coeur. I also spent quite a bit of time walking the streets and enjoying the ambience.

La Rochelle
La Rochelle
In La Rochelle I stayed for about a week, taking advantage of my dear friend Aurelie's hospitality. From here I went out to see other places around the west coast of France.

Arcashon
Arcachon

Arcachon is a coastal town near Bordeaux. It's a popular touristic desination by itself, but what I liked the most was a nearby Dune de Pila.

Ile de Oleron
Ile de Oleron

Straight from Arcachon we went to Ile de Oleron which I'll remember most for seeing a whole bunch of my friends from the States again. But also for the great seafood, charming little towns and beaches.

Marais Poitevin
Marais Poitevin
Marais Poitevin is a large marsh area just north of La Rochelle. We've had some fun boating among a network of canals there.

Ile de Re
Ile de Re
Ile de Re is where I had an awesome time cycling for a day. Renting a bicycle before a 3km bridge connecting the island to the main land, I took a ride around the whole island which is about 30km long and 5 wide.
