Yosemite (June 2003) is most definitely one of the greatest US National Parks. Spectacular vertical, granite
walls an some of the tallest waterfalls in the world are among attractions. I spent there only about 3 days
doing day hikes from Yosemite Valley. First hike to the 5th tallest waterfall in the world, the Yosemite Falls
(739m tall). Then the ultimate Yosemite hike, the hike to Half Dome. That's quite a tough hike, 27km round
trip, 1463m elevation gain, and some great views. Finally, I did a hike up the Glacier Point which is right
above the Yosemite Village with some of the best views around the valley.
