Welcome to my personal website. It's been created for several reasons. First of all I wanted it to allow me to collect and share my memories from the different places I travel to. But I also wanted it to motivate me to practice photography and web design. So here it is, enjoy it. - Bartek

December 23rd - Tatry in Winter
I went to the mountains for a few days to do some winter hiking, and see if I still remember snowboarding. The weather was changing a lot from pretty stormy in the beginning to a sunny and calm in the last days. There was lots of snow. Tatry in winter
October 10th - pub
I got a new lens Nikon 50mm f 1.8 D and I tried it out in some pubs.
August 25th - updates
I just came back from my biking trip around Tatras, 4 awesome days, mostly in Slovakia.
A couple of weeks ago I shot a wedding for good friends of mine. Quite new and different photography experience for me. You can see the results here: www.kasiayjesus.info
A sad but inevitable happened a month ago. My well served for almost 4 years Minolta A1 died. The good news is that I upgraded to Nikon D70s which should be even more fun to shot.
That's about it... after a week of holiday, I got to return to work.
May 8th - Ustka, polish coast
The begining of May is a long weekend in Poland so I had some time to get away to the coast with Madzia.
April 30th - Romania
I haven't made any updates lately as I took a job, and it keeps me busy. But I got so lucky that my job took me on another travel experience to Romania. I didn't have much time for sightseeing so most pictures are taken from a car window.
January 25th - Creative humor
Improv Everywhere is a group of New Yorkers who have a cool idea for bringing in humor to people's lives. They organise an annual No Pants Subway Ride in New York. This year 300 people participated riding the subway with no pants on. The rule was that they could not explain why they had no pants. They had do say something like "Oh, I guess I forgot".
January 17th - Mountain Trivia - Proud to be Polish
There are 14 mountains in the world which are above 8000 meters in hight. All of them are located in the Himalaya region. There are 13 climbers who managed to climb all of them, two of them are Polish.
Here's the really interesting fact though. Out of those 14 peaks, only 8 have been climbed in winter when average temperatures drop below -30 degrees and winds are often of hurricane force. All of the first succesful climbs of those peaks in winter where done by Polish clibers.
